Abstract

|
Pyogenic arthritis of the sternoclavicular joint is rare in healthy adult, fistulae and cutaneous abscess associated with pyogenic arthritis is more rarely. We report our experience of pyogenic arthritis of the sternoclavicular joint after unilateral sternoclavicular joint anterior fracture-dislocation in healthy adult. The therapeutic result was good by antibiotic therapy and early surgical adequate drainage.
